Q. Are your products tested on animals?
A. Thank you for your interest in Lise Watier Cosmétiques and for taking the time to express your preoccupations with regards to animal testing and animal derived products. We wish to reassure you, Lise Watier products are not tested on animals, nor do we have animal testing conducted on our behalf. We are committed to selling only safe products, using only safe ingredients in our cosmetic products and complying with applicable regulations in every country in which Lise Watier products are sold. Lise Watier ensures product safety through testing using “in vitro” or “self-testing” methods on human volunteers. On occasion, the cosmetics industry uses raw materials of animal origin in the creation of certain products. Animal ingredients are used strictly when their efficacy cannot be duplicated by any other source of ingredients. The development of all Lise Watier products is carried out with the goal of offering innovative, high-quality products to our clientele, while insuring the security of their use.

Q. My skin gets sensitive after I use one of your products.  What should I do?
A. It is very important to follow instructions and read labels before using any product on your skin. If you have experienced allergic reactions in the past, we suggest that you interrupt usage of the product, take note of the ingredients and consult a dermatologist should the symptoms persist. It is also important not to use products that have an expired date.

Q. What are the active ingredients contained in the age spot brightening products?
A. We owe the success of our brightening products to our exclusive radiance complex, called White Radiance, which is composed of turnip, brown algae, peptides, glycolic and lactic acid AHAs, arginine. This exclusive complex corrects, delays and reduces the appearance of stubborn dark spots resulting from age or sun exposure, and eliminates dead skin cells.

Q. Do anti-wrinkle products really work?
A. Hereditariness only represents 20% of our skin condition. We thus control 80% of our overall skin appearance, which is directly related to the way we treat our skin and the products we use.  

Lise Watier Cosmétiques products are subject to in vivo clinical studies (on human) based on various protocols. For example: imprints, profilometry (wrinkle reduction), cutometry (firmness and stretchiness or resilience?), corneometry (skin hydration measure), colorimetry (dark circle measure). These instrumental methodologies provide quantitative results that eradicate all possible interpretations. Finally, we complete these studies with auto-assessment of the sensorial experience.The panel group members provide their opinion on the product’s odour, texture, application experience, as well as packaging). The effectiveness is measured at 28, then at 56 days. The obtained results are all submitted to statistic treatments for validation.

Q. Can I use a night product for the day, and vice versa?
A. The range of our skincare products was created to fulfil a variety of specific needs, whether for treating a specific skin type, a particular age, a certain skin condition.  In example, our night products contain a specific dosage of active ingredients allowing optimal treatment, as our skin is better disposed to receiving hydration. Our day care products, on the other hand, offer hydration in a more diffused manner throughout the day, while protecting your skin against daily environmental aggressions.

Q. Why do colors seem different than the real product on my computer screen?
A. This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher and a minimum monitor resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (DPI). Please note that monitors display colors differently based upon their settings.

Q.How can I get Lise Watier Cosmétiques samples?
A. We are not able to provide samples by request. When you shop on lisewatier.com, we will offer some samples when it is possible.

Q. Do I have to create an account to place an order?

Q. What happens if one or some of the products I ordered are not available or back order?
A. The availability of certain products may be limited, and products may not be available for immediate delivery. Lise Watier Cosmétiques may revise or cease to make available any product at any time without prior notice.  In the event that Lise Watier Cosmétiques is unable to deliver you a product ordered due to a lack of availability, Lise Watier Cosmétiques will inform you via e-mail or telephone.  You will be then given either one of the following options:
a) Change your product selection for a comparable and available item;
b) Keep your initial selection and wait for its next availability date, thus postponing the delivery date;
c) Ask the Service Representative to remove the unavailable item and keep the original shipping delay.

Q. What can I do if I forget my password?
A. If you forgot your password, go to the « My Account » section and then click on « Forgot your Password? ». Enter your e-mail address, your password will be sent to your e-mail address.


ORDERING & SHIPMENT

Q. Do you accept international orders?
A. Lisewatier.com is for the time being unable to accept orders that are billed or shipped to destinations outside of Canada.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Q. How can I track my order?
A. Once you receive an email from Lise Watier Cosmétiques advising you that your order and payment are accepted, your order will get prepared and shipped. You will then receive a shipping confirmation number by email. Click here for more details.  

Q. Are orders limited to a certain amount?
A. For payment and shipment purposes, orders cannot exceed $1000.00 per month, either individually or collectively (multiple orders).

RETURN POLICY

Q. What is your return policy?

Q. Must I pay the shipping fees when returning merchandise? 
A. Shipping charges for returning unwanted merchandise is not refundable. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.  

Q. Can I return Lise Watier Cosmétiques products at any point of sale? 
A. Returns or exchanges for purchases made online may not be acceptable for return or exchange at a RETAILER counter.
